DAY 1: VIENTIANE ARRIVAL – AIRPORT TRANSFER (-) – WITH GUIDE

Welcome to Vientiane the vibrant capital of Laos!

Upon arrival to Vientiane, our guide and driver will be waiting to provide transport to the hotel for check in. After checking in, enjoy the remainder of the day free at leisure to explore Vientiane independently. Check in hotel (Check in time: 14h00)

DAY 2: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR (B/L) – PRIVATE TOUR

After breakfast , Begin the day on a guided city tour exploring some of the hidden charms of Vientiane. Start the day with a hotel pick up (09:00 am ) . Head for the serene Wat Sisaket, one of the city’s most beautiful temples and the only remaining temple after the Siamese (Thai) invasion of 1828. Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo, a temple-cum-museum which displays a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art. Take note

(from the outside) of the nearby Presidential Palace, offering a glimpse into the city’s colonial roots.

Afternoon , pay a visit to COPE, an association working to help landmine victims. A visit to the center provides in-depth information about the history of the American/Vietnam war and the lasting impact of unexploded ordinances (UXO) in the area and the efforts underway to clear them. The next visit of the day is to the holiest site in Laos: That Luang. Constructed by King Setthathirat in the 16th century, the temple is resplendent as the sun shines upon its towering golden spire. Wrap up the day with a visit to the Patuxay monument, Laos’ version of the Arc de Triomphe. Overnight in Vientiane

DAY 3: VIENTIANE – LUANG PRAPANG BY TRAIN (SECOND CLASS ) (B) – PRIVATE TOUR

After breakfast, Check out hotel. Then catch the Train departs and arrive at the Vientiane Railway station (around 2 hours go train). Arrival Luang Prapang Transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, spend time visiting temples in Luang Prabang including Wat Visun Temple, built during the reign of King Wisunarat. That Mako and Wat Aham, known as the “Monastery of the Opened Heart” Take a walk-up Phu Si hill and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view overlooking Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

DAY 4: LUANG PRAPANG – PAK OU – LUANG PRAPANG (B/L) – PRIVATE TOUR

After breakfast, transfer to the pier to board a traditional long boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. On the way, visit villages located on the riverbank including Ban Xang Hai and learn how local rice whisky is made. Continue on to Pak Ou, visit Tham Ting and Tham Theung caves with their Lao style Buddhist sculptures assembled over the centuries by local people. On the way back, visit the village of Ban Xang Khong, the village of homemade Saa Paper. In the afternoon, visit Wat Mai and walk along the streets to Wat Xieng Thong, located on the bank of the Mekong River. It is one of the most elegant and best-preserved examples of 16th century Luang Prabang temple architecture. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE – AIRPORT TRANSFER (B) – WITH GUIDE

Depart in the early morning (05h30) and observe monks leaving their pagodas and walking barefoot along the streets in the long lines collecting alms. It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spirituality of the Lao people. Return to the hotel for breakfast after which tour the National Museum which used to be the Royal Palace (official name Haw Kham), built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. Various statues of Buddha, monarchs, as well as wonderful murals of traditional Lao scenes still remain. Transfer to the airport for a departing flight.

• If you book for JOIN TOUR, please be ON TIME at the lobby of the hotel to meet up our tour guide, the guide will wait for 5 minutes. After that time please take taxi to the sight seeing point and pay by yourself. Please understand because there are many other members in the group. (Private tour please following up specific time with the operator and should not be late)

CHILDREN’S POLICY: 

• Children under 1-4 years old free of charge, any tickets if need pay please pay for them.
• Children from 5- 8 years old and sharing same room with parents is charged for 75%.
• Children 9 years old with extra bed and sharing same room with parents is charged for 85% tour adult.
• Children from 10 years old up must pay as an adult and have an extra bed.

• Cancellation after deposit payment will be charged 50% tour price;
• Cancellation during 60 days before departure will be charged 50% tour price.
• Cancellation during 15 days before departure will be charged 100% tour price.
