About This Cruise

Our L’Amour Junk is designed in the style of the traditional sailing boats and was the first small deluxe one-cabin junk in Halong Bay. It is an ideal option for a couple on a romantic trip.
She is designed with sophistication and meticulous attention to every single detail, for our guests’ enjoyment, especially their viewing pleasure. During her construction, every effort was made to enhance our customer’s holiday experience. The en-suite room has a big sea view window and the outside dining area is a perfect place to observe the natural landscape while cruising.
From the moment you step aboard and check into your cabin, to when you are relaxing on the sun deck, you are surrounded by handcrafted teak and oak furnishings. You can relax in comfort on our traditional boat and will receive a warm welcome from our crew while enjoying many interesting activities.
After boarding the L’Amour Junk, you are given the maximum of privacy during your trip. Our staffs are on call when you need them or leave you to enjoy the bay. The food service during this trip is also a highlight of the whole experience.

Day 01: Hon Gai Harbour – Bai Tu Long Bay – Thien Canh Son Cave
12:00 – 12:30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
12:30 – 13:00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
13:30 – 15:00: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long bay.
15:15 – 15:40: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
15:45 – 18:00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co island, swimming or kayaking.
18:00 – 19:00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
20:00 – 21:00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.
Day 02: Vung Vieng Fishing Village – Hon Gai Harbour
07:30 – 08:00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08:30 – 09:30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat.
10:00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.
11:45 – 12:00: Disembark. Drive back to Hanoi. Trip ends.

15:00 – 16:30: Cruise to Cap La, Tra San.
16:30 – 17:30: Enjoy paddling around Cap La and Tra San by kayak.

19:00 – 21:00: Have dinner and overnight on board in Cong Do area.
Day 02: Vung Vieng Fishing Village – Hon Co Island – Thien Canh Son Cave
07:30 – 08:00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08:15 – 09:15: Start cruising to Vung Vieng.
09:30 – 10:30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat, meet the local people and pass through the floating school and fish farms.
10:30 – 11:30: Reach to Hon Co Island for swimming or relaxing. Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
12:00 – 13:30: Have a BBQ lunch and relax on a wild beach or in Thien Canh Son cave (Depending on the availability and weather condition).
13:45 – 15:45: Back to junk for relaxing while cruising to Cong Do area
16:00 – 17:30: Enjoy swimming or kayaking through Cong Do and Thay cave area
19:00 – 21:00: Have dinner & overnight on board.
Day 03: Hon Gai Harbour
07:30 – 08:00: Enjoy fresh air & gentle breeze of the bay in morning. Have breakfast on board.
08:30 – 09:30: Free time for swimming & relaxing.
10:00 – 11:30: Start cruising towards the harbor while A la carte lunch is served.
You arrive at Hon Gai harbor by 11.45. Transfer to your waiting car for the return trip to Hanoi. The trip ends at your hotel about 16:00

Day 02: Tra Gioi Beach – Cong Dam Fishing Village – Vung Ha
06:30: Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the open air.
07:30: Cruise to Cong Dam while appreciating the rock formations of Halong Bay.
09:00: Kayak through hidden lagoons and Cong Dam geological park.
11:30: Sunbathe, relax or swim at Tra Gioi Beach.
12:30: BBQ lunch followed by relaxation on this deserted beach.
14:30: Visit Cong Dam Fishing Village by a rustic rowing boat, meet the local people and pass through the lagoons.

Then we stop at Cong Dam floating around 30 minutes where your trip contributes 2% for this school.

07:30: Enjoy the morning on the bay while having breakfast.
08:30: Fish with the local people and learn about local fishing techniques.
09:30: Cruise to Ba Cua Beach for relaxation and swimming. Discover Bo Hung (Dor-beetle) Island by kayak.
11:30: Have lunch in a homestay on Vung Vieng fishing village.
14:00: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by rowing boat.
15:00: Cruise back to Cong Do for swimming and kayaking.

Day 04: Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi

Our crew will invite you for a BBQ lunch on the beach – as if it were a wonderful gift granted by a mermaid. Imagine for a moment that you are the only people on earth enjoying a fabulous meal under the clear blue sky on your own private beach.
Start with a glass of wine and proceed to enjoy an array of succulent, grilled seafood. The melodious music of the waves will put the finishing touches to the perfect, dreamy ambiance.
