Day 2: Yangon – Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo Pagoda)
Morning:
- Drive to Golden Rock
After breakfast, depart by car for the Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo Pagoda), one of Myanmar’s most revered pilgrimage sites. The journey takes around 4-5 hours,200km offering beautiful views of the countryside.
Lunch:
- Stop for a traditional Burmese lunch along the way, featuring dishes such as Shan noodles and Mohinga (fish noodle soup).
Afternoon:
- Visit Golden Rock
Upon arrival, take a local truck ride to the summit of Golden Rock, an extraordinary site where a massive boulder covered in gold leaf balances precariously on the edge of a cliff. Explore the sacred Kyaiktiyo Pagoda and enjoy the tranquil spiritual atmosphere and panoramic views.

- Dinner at a Local Restaurant

Day 3: Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon (By Car)

- Drive to Bago:
After breakfast, travel by car to Bago, a historical city located 2 hours away from Golden Rock. - Shwethalyaung Buddha:
Visit Shwethalyaung Buddha, home to one of Myanmar’s largest reclining Buddha statues at 55 meters in length. Surrounding this massive statue are peaceful shrines and beautiful murals. - Kyaikpun Pagoda:
Next, visit Kyaikpun Pagoda, famous for its four large seated Buddha statues, each representing one of the four cardinal directions. - Kandbawzathadi Palace:
Explore the Kandbawzathadi Palace, a historical site dating back to the 16th century. This was the royal palace of King Bayinnaung, one of Myanmar's most revered kings. Evening:
- Return to Yangon:
After a full day of exploration, drive back to Yangon. - Dinner at The Strand Hotel:

Day 4: Yangon – Mandalay - Ava - Mandalay (By Flight)

Upon arrival at Mandalay Airport, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

- Visit Ava (Inwa)

- Sunset View at U Bein Bridge

Day 5: Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagaing – Mandalay
