Day 2: PHNOM PENH (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Day 3: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP - By Shuttle Bus

Breakfast at the hotel – Transfer to the bus station to embark on your 5 yours journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, get picked up and transfer to the hotel check in the hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th century, contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from late 19th century. Continue to visit the "Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Day 4: SIEM REAP (B)

After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Promh (the jungle temple. In the afternoon, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to Angkor Wat: The “7th Wonders’of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views. Day 5: SIEM REAP - DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at the hotel – visit the Tonle sap where we will enjoy a boat ride (private boat and guide) on the Tonle Sap lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and curant. Remarks:

The dress code for the Royal Palace of Phnom Penh requires visitors dress respectfully and modestly as the Royal Palace is the home of the King. Visitors must wear long pants that cover the knee. Singlets or tank tops are not allowed, as shoulders must be covered

 

All visitors to Angkor Temples are required to wear modest clothing: no short pants or short skirts (knees must be covered) and no sleeveless shirts (shoulders must be covered). See-through clothing will also not be allowed.

 

As for the visit of Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple itself, closed for 4 days of a month on the Theravada Buddhist Religious Calendar, visitors are required to wear decent attires with shoulders and knees properly covered (Non-revealing dress). The visitors are particularly requested to stand in queue awaiting their turns to climb up to this peak, and children under twelve year-old are not permitted to do so for their own safety reason.
