Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Yangon – City Highlights

    Welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in and to freshen up.
  • Visit Sule Pagoda
    Visit Sule Pagoda, one of Yangon’s oldest and most iconic pagodas, located in the heart of the city.
  • Colonial Architecture Tour
    Explore the colonial district of Yangon, including the Yangon City Hall, Strand Hotel, Post Office and the High Court Building, Maha Bandula Park and Independence Monument. Learn about the city’s colonial history and architecture.
  • Secretary Office Exploration
    Visit the Secretary Office, an important historical building in Myanmar, and learn about its role in the country’s independence movement.

Lunch:

  • Enjoy a traditional Burmese lunch at Shwe Sa Bwe or Le Planteur, offering both local and international dishes.
  • Yangon Circular Train Ride

Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (By Flight)

    After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for a short domestic flight (1 hour 10 minutes) to Nyaung U (Bagan).
  • Arrival & Transfer to Hotel
    Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel to check in and freshen up.

  • Arrival in Bagan & Temples Exploration

Day 3: Bagan – Mt. Popa  & Villages Tour

Day 4: Bagan  – Kalaw (By Car)

  • Depart for Kalaw
    After breakfast, you'll begin your drive to Kalaw, a charming hill station nestled in the Shan Mountains. The drive will take you through Myanmar's heartland, where you'll pass through picturesque villages, farmlands, and lush countryside. The contrast between Bagan's ancient temples and the cool, rolling hills of Kalaw will be striking.
  • Arrival in Kalaw
    After approximately 5 to 6 hours of travel, covering a distance of around 180 to 200 kilometers, you will arrive in the peaceful hill station of Kalaw. Known for its cool climate, lush greenery, and colonial architecture, Kalaw offers a relaxing contrast to the heat of the plains. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel in Kalaw, where you can check in, relax, and enjoy the cooler temperatures.

Day 5: Kalaw – Inle Lake – Indein (By Car & Boat)

Day 6: Inle Lake – Yangon (By Flight)
