ITINERARY

DAY 1 : Arriving in Lombok

Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to your beach hotel along the beautiful view of Kuta beach. Afternoon is free at leisure.

Overnight at Purimas Lombok or Royal Avila

DAY 2:  Lombok

Visit Sukarare renowned for its traditional weaving, the techniques for which have been handed down from mother to daughter for generations. Each pieces of cloth is woven on a handloom in established patterns and colors. Some fabrics are woven in as many as four directions and interwoven with gold thread. They can be so complicated that they take one person three months to complete.

Lombok’s  terracotta pottery is gaining an international reputation for its quality workmanship. In the village of Banyumulek (clear – water) you can see pottery makers painstakingly molding vases, jugs and plates in exactly the same way as they have been crafted for centuries. Continue on to Sade, a hamlet built in the traditional Sasak (Lombok ethnic group) style. The houses are made entirely of adobe, roofed with alang – alang ( a type of long grass ).

DAY 3 :  Lombok               (B)The charm of Gili Sudak | The Sensation of Vacationing on a Private Island

Breakfast at the hotel. Your holiday in Lombok is not complete without visiting one of the gilis. For a more total escape – Gili Nanggu is the place. Here’s where you can really get away from it all on that almost exclusive deserted island. Board a brightly painted jetty outrigger canoes across the crystal blue water to Gili Nanggu. Put on loads of High Factor Waterproof Sun cream before you jump into the water to discover how many fishes really are in the sea. Continue on to the second Gili – Gili Sudak. Do not forget that you have to eat your lunch (but not included – there is a small beach restaurant on Gili Sudak. As you are really energetic jump back to the water to view beautiful coral reefs. Be careful! Coral is living organism which will die it is stood on, touched, broken or poked. Do not touch or take anything out of the ocean except rubbish and please do not leave any of your own. Before returning to the hotel you have time to visit tiny little Gili Sudak (known as ‘honeymoon island’).

DAY 4 :  Departure  (B)

After breakfast morning at leisure to enjoy hotel facilities until your departure time.
