Day 01 : Arrival to Yangon

Arrive in Yangon and transfer to hotel. Yangon , formerly known as
Rangoon , is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its
impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the
most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia . Welcome
dinner at Karaweik Palace Floating Barge Restaurant with traditional
cultural show. Overnight in Yangon .
Day 02 : Yangon Sightseeing by bike (B)
After breakfast at hotel, Fullday sightseeing in
Yangon by bike ; a city tour includes the National Museum ,
Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda's 70m long reclining Buddha, downtown Yangon -
Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument and have a
memorable scene of colonial building & atmosphere, India town and
bustling China town. In the afternoon there is free time for
shopping at Bogyoke Market, formerly Scott's Market. In the evening,
visit to Myanmar's holiest monument, the Shwedagon Pagoda with its
golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaf. Overnight in
Yangon .
Note: All bicyclies will be sent to Heho at the night time by
separate car.
Day 03 : Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake by morning
flight (B)
In
the morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho.
From Heho, enjoy a scenic ride to Nyaung Shwe (38 km) by
bike where is gateway to Inle Lake , one of Myanmar
best-known sights. The Intha people, a tribe of Mon descent,
mostly inhabit the lakeshores and floating villages. On
arrival at Nyaung Shwe village, transfer by boat to start a
sightseeing tour of Inle Lake including a chance to see the
leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens,
built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored
to the bottom with bamboo poles. There are also floating
villages like Ywama, the lake's downtown, where a floating
market is held every five days. In the afternoon continue to
Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and
the jumping cat monastery. Check into hotel in the
afternoon. Overnight in Inle Lake .

Day 04 : Inle Lake - In Dein - Inle Lake (B)
After breakfast, transfer by motorboat to In
Dein, an off-the-beaten-track site in the south of the lake. From
Ywama, the boat leaves the lake and enters a narrow canal leading to
a small Pa O tribe village. From the market place of the village,
follow an old covered path to a 13 th century monastery and the very
impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas, some hidden in the
vegetation. The main stupa-area on the top of the hill offers
breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and down to the
valley and the lake in the far distance. Return to the lake and
transfer back to hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Inle Lake .
Day 05 : Inle Lake- Aungban by car. Proceed to
Pindaya by bike. (B)
After
breakfast at the hotel, leave by boat and car to enjoy a
scenic drive to Aung Ban Village through the picturesque
countryside of Shan State . Proceed to Pindaya by riding
bicycle (50 km) with a beautiful scene of Shan State . Upon
arrival at Pindaya, check in to hotel. Visit Pindaya's
limestone cave with its maze of chambers displaying more
than 8,000 Buddha statues and local handicraft workshops
producing Shan paper made from mulberry bark and traditional
umbrellas made from the same paper that are used by monks
all around the country. Overngiht at hotel in Pindaya.
Day 06 : Pindaya - Kalaw by car. (B)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kalaw. Check
in hotel Kalaw Hotel. Continue day return trekking to Tayaw Village
. Back to Kalaw. Free at leisure. Overngiht at hotel.
Day 07 : Kalaw - Kyone Village by car / Kyone
Village - Moegyi (110 km) by bike. Moegyi - Mandalay by car. (B)
After
breakfast hotel, enjoy a scenic drive to Kyone Village .
Proceed to Moegyi village by bike. It's about 110 km fare
from distance. Drive to Mandalay . Free at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.
Day 08 : Mandalay - Amarapura - Ava - Mandalay
by bike. (B)
After breakfast at the hotel depart for full day
trip to the former capitals of Amarapua, Ava. The day begins with a
Mandalay City sightseeing ; Myanmar 's cultural capital, features
Mahamuni Pagoda, famous for its venerable statue of Buddha covered
with gold leaf. Mandalay has long been known as a centre of skilled
craftsmanship and in former times supplied the royal courts. A tour
of traditional workshops includes crafts such as woodcarving, marble
masonry, Kalaga tapestry and gold-leaf making. Continue visit to the
18 th century capital, Amarapura. Attend the daily meal of over a
thousand monks at the country's largest monastery, Mahagandayon.
Visit a silk weaving workshop, the craft speciality of Amarapura.
Proceed to Ava, the capital from 14 th to 18 th centuries and visit
by horse and carriage the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the
remains of the Royal Palace and fort. Finish the day with a walk at
sunset over the 200 year-old U Bein Bridge enjoying with riding of
bicycle around U Bein Bridge, constructed entirely from teak.

Day 09 : Mandalay- Maymyo (Pyin Oo Lwin) by
train (0445/0800). (B)
Early
morning transfer to railway station. Proceed to Maymyo by
train (68 km). Upon arrival at Pyin Oo Lwin station,
transfer to hotel by car. Fullday sightseeing by bike : v
isiting B.E Water Fall, Kandawgyi National Botanical Garden
, Paikchinmyaung Cave and take photo of Colonial Building
with lush greenery & gentle breeze and Chanmyay Meditation
Centre for adoring the Buddha scriptures. Overnight at hotel
in Pyin Oo Lwin.
Day 10 : Maymyo / Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay by
bike. (68 km) (B)
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure. Riding
down by bike to Mandalay . Free at leisure. In the late afternoon,
visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist
scriptures (known as the world's biggest book), Shwenandaw
Monastery, noted for its exquisite woodcarving and the impressive
Kyauktawgyi Pagoda with its huge sitting Buddha. Enjoy the sunset
from Mandalay Hill for panoramic view of city. Overnight at Hotel in
Mandalay.
Day 11 : Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay.
(B)
After
breakfast, transfer to the jetty and board a private
chartered boat for an excursion over the Irrawaddy River
towards the former capital of Mingun. After a 45 minute
cruise, arrive in Mingun famous for its huge unfinished
pagoda also home to the Mingun Bell, considered as the
world's largest untracked ringing bell. Also visit the
beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda. Enjoying riding bike from
Mingun to Sagaing (25 km) where covered with 600
white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is
widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is
home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centres. In the late
afternoon, cross the bridge over the Irrawaddy River and
back to Mandalay . Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay .
Day 12 : Mandalay - Bagan by boat. (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the
jetty for a boat trip to Bagan. As it sails southwards, the
riverboat passes many villages offering a glimpse into the way of
life along the Irrawaddy River . Arrive in Bagan late in the
afternoon. On the dry plain of central Myanmar by the banks of the
Irrawaddy River stands Bagan, one of the most remarkable
archaeological sites in Asia . The 230 years, from 11 th to 13 th
centuries, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, were marked by a
religious fervour and building frenzy resulting in the thousands of
stupas and temples many of which are still standing today. Upon
arrival at Bagan jetty, orientation Overnight in hotel in Bagan.

Day 13 : Bagan Sightseeing by bike . (B)
After
breakfast, morning sightseeing of Bagan features the
colourful Nyaung Oo Market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and its
magnificent golden stupa, Kyansittha U Min, Wetkyi-In
Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jatakas murals
paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its
fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. In
the afternoon observe the process of traditional
lacquerware, one of Myanmar 's best-known handicrafts and a
speciality of Bagan. Visit Ananda, an architectural
masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive
standing Buddha images, Ananda Okkyaung, one of the few
surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period and
Thatbyinnyu the highest temple in Bagan rising to 61m. End
the day with a horse and carriage tour among the temples
passing by the traditional village of Taungbi , Sulamani
Temple and the massive Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its
remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the
upper terrace of Tayokepyay Temple . Overnight in hotel in
Bagan.
Day 14 : Bagan - Salay - Mt Popa by car. (B/-/D)
After
breakfast at hotel, proceed to Mt. Popa . Visit Mt. Popa .
Tower like volcanic plug that houses a pituresque complex of
monasteries and Pagodas which can be reached by a winding
777 steps. Myanmar people adore Mt. Popa as a Nat Taung
(spirits of mountaions), that means all spirits and angles
gather and have a meeting on that mountain peak in August.
Record shows that there are 118 kinds of herbal plants,
different species of birds and animals. Lunch at Popa.
Proceed to Salay- a small town about 15km south of Bagan,
down the Ayeyawaddy River . Tour Highlight U Pone Nya
Museum, formerly the Yoke Sone Monastery, exhibits antique,
laquerwares, wodden reliefs and a large standing glided
Buddha image. The figures carved outside the front of the
building are worth seeing. An other place worth visiting is
Tha-ta na Kyaung (Keythar Monastery)where Tipitaka texts are
house in a large red lacquered cabinet. In the afternoon
drive to Bagan, Nyaung U Airport for Yangon flight. Farewell
free flow cocktail party host by local agent. Overnight in
Yangon .
Day 15 : Depart from Yangon . (B)
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure before
transfer to Mingaladon Airport for onward flight.
