Balloons over Bagan, gives visitors a unique view of the ancient Bagan region, through the magic of hot air balloons, as it never has been before.

The magic of Bagan has inspired visitors to Myanmar for centuries. One of the most remarkable sights in Asia, ancient temples dot the landscape as far as the eye can see.
The sunrise and sunset champagne flights last just under one hour and take off daily from October through to the end of March.

The Balloon is guided by gentle winds not exceeding 15 mph, allowing passengers a serene and peaceful bird’s-eye view of ancient temples drifting by. Using his skill the pilot is able to guide the balloon to a gentle landing on the banks of Ayeyarwaddy River, or in an open field, where our friendly crew and a celebratory glass of champagne will be on hand. On average, flights last between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

The balloons and equipment have been supplied new to Balloons over Bagan by Cameron Balloons of the UK, the world’s largest and finest balloon manufacturer. The balloons are custom made to the highest standards of the British aerospace industry.

Our largest balloon can accommodate 12 passengers also in four compartments. Continuing to operate a maximum of three balloons at any one time. Total capacity will therefore increase to 28 passengers per flight during the months of November, January, February and March, and will increase to 20 passengers per flight during October

2. Cancellation fees will only apply upon payment and issue of tickets. Cancellation fees are as follows:
3. Cancellation 48 hours before the flight – no refund
4. Cancellation between 72 hours and 48 hours before the flight -50% refund
5. Cancellation between 72 hours and 7 days before the flight -75% refund
